Marjoram is an aromatic herb known for its aromatherapeutic and culinary uses. Its botanical name means “joy of the mountain” in Greek, and was first used to make wreaths for weddings. In fact, Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, was believed to wear wreaths made from marjoram.
