Eucalyptus leaves are famous for their strong and unique scent - not quite menthol, not quite citrus. It has a multitude of medicinal purposes including the treatment of the common cold and it’s associated ailments such as breathing difficulty, sinus congestion and sore throats. Boiling leaves to make a strongly aromatic vapour and inhaling is a commonly recommended method for treating these ailments. It’s also used topically to treat bites, cuts and joint pain.
