Shatavari is the main Ayurvedic rejuvenator for women, as Ashwagandha is for men (though both have some action on both sexes). Externally, it is an effective emollient for stiff joints, stiff neck and muscle spasms. It increases milk and semen production, and nurtures the mucous membranes.
