Description
Shepherd’s purse is best known for its anti-bleeding properties.
For centuries, women have used it to reduce heavy or long menstrual cycles. Others use it to reduce pain caused by mentrual cramps. Shepherd’s purse is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, and its leaves can be used in a tea or made into a poultice. Other common medicinal uses include: to treat headaches, bladder infections, varicose veins, digestive issues, constipation, sore throat. Shepherd’s purse has a slight radish flavor.
